Good morning one and all,
Sorry about yesterday, but I was really feeling under the weather. After the previous six days of feeling great, I certainly can't complain, though.
We did go see Dr. Meade, at her request, so she could check out the drain site. After carefully checking it, she declared it infection free (YES) and indicated she would check w/Dr. Mills to see if the tube could possibly be removed. We're only going to drain every 5 days to see how much we get off, so it may be a few weeks ... but at least hope is on the horizon.
This past Sunday was one of the most wonderful days I've had in years. Bobby and I went to church, then Sunday afternoon much of the family was here for game day. We ordered in pizza, Angie brought a veggie tray and other munchies, and we just had a ball all day long. The day ended on a perfect note with Jerry spontaniously playing the piano and organ for us. It just doesn't get much better than that!
Jerry, Bobby and Misti are headed for Pueblo this coming Friday to pack up Jerry's Mom and move her up here. We have an apt. for her at a Sr./Assisted Living (Primrose) and I know she's going to be so much happier here with all her family around her. Angie is going to stay with me, although Jerry is very trepedious about leaving me with anyone. As far as he's concerned, no one can take as good of care of me as he can ... I must admit, he gives me wonderful care.
In an effort not to rival "War and Peace" guess I'll close for now. It's great talking with you. Have a beautiful "rest of the week" and we'll be talking again on Friday.
God's blessings to everyone. Love ya Loads,
L
You are blessed sweetie!!
