Friday once more

Good morning from blustry Gillette,

The wind is howling, it's only 36 degrees out, and this is how I remember Autumn in Gillette.  Now I truly feel home.

Upon arising this morning, I was sooooo excited!  I looked down at my feet and they actually look like feet, not hams.  Let me back up.  When we went out with John and Shauna I mentioned how my feet had been hurting and I thought it was due to walking on the hardwood floor in the kitchen and breezeway.  John suggested I start wearing houseslippers throughout the house, so Bobby took me shoe shopping yesterday.  I bought a pair of shoes for outside, as well as a wonderfully comfy pair of slippers and wore them all day.  Wahla!  No swollen feet today.  The slippers are the only thing I can attribute it to ... so thank you, thank you, thank you Johnny!  It's so nice to have my feet back.

Misti and her family brought supper last night.  We had wonderful steaks which Jerry grilled, fried potatoes and homemade veggie soup. It was delicious!  That, on top of eggs benedict at Village Inn yesterday morning, has resulted in a 1.5 lb weight gain this morning, so I guess that's a good thing.  Still having a problem accepting the fact that I'm supposed to be gaining weight instead of losing!  :-)

Well, there's still a boatload of paper work I need to finish, and I just may go back to bed for an hour or so.  Please have a phenomenal Friday and a safe and fun-filled weekend.  Remember ... people don't care what you know until they know you care.  And I know how caring each and every one of you are.

Love, hugs and kisses,

L

  1. Thank God for small suggestions that make a BIG difference! I thought your feet looked much better last night even... Good call John!

I'm heading to work for a few hours, then babysitting the girls and working on editing photos for a client proofing today. I wanted to spend the day outside with the kids but it doesn't look like Mother Nature liked that idea. Brrrrr! It's a bit chilly!

Have a wonderful day today and enjoy your evening, I'll probably not be up tonight, I have a date with Ciara to go to the barrel race and take some photos.

Love you so much! Glad to hear your feet are looking like feet again :)
