Hello again, cherished family and friends,
Will you look at the time? Guess I'm becoming a real lazy bones, sleeping in this late. But it feels so good!
Yesterday was the best day I've had since prior to the diagnosis. I was stronger and more pain-free than I've been in over two months. In fact, if I hadn't known better I'd have sworn I was totally cured. Only used my walker in the late afternoon/evening when I started to wear down. I was even able to walk up the 7 stairs on the deck, with help from Jerry of course.
Don't feel quite as strong, etc., this morning due to some neck, back, and leg pain. But it feels like it's muscular and nothing a good chiropractor couldn't help. I'm just afraid to press my luck. Dr. Mills gave permission for massage therapy ... don't want to push my luck with a request for chirpractic. Guess I'll make another massage appt.
Tammi and Misti spent most of the day with us yesterday, and Jerry and Bruce worked on the deck. It's just about finished and does it ever look nice. I have a feeliing we're going to be spending a lot of time out there during nice weather. What am I saying? We're already spending a lot of time enjoying the sunshine, trees, etc.
Tammi is healing from her mishap with the horse on Sunday, although yesterday was the third day and she was having more pain than on Monday. She's going to try to go to work today; however, she'll stay in the office and not go to the field. I told her she should take it easy one more day, but she's so dedicated. Insisted she could go in. We'll see what happens.
We have to run to the hospital today for lung and shoulder xrays. Other than that I'm spending the day doing the book work I was hoping to get done yesterday. We're going out to eat with John and Shauna this evening, so don't have to worry about what's for supper.
We had Deluxe Cheeseburger Soup last night for Tammi, Bruce and Jenni. Bobby, Angie and Baylee also came over and had supper. They had a water leak day before yesterday which ruined their floor in the kitchen, dining, laundry, and bathrooms so had a service there drying things out. Ah, the joys of homeownership!
Guess it's time to get busy, empty the dishwasher, get cleaned up, etc. Have a beautiful day and, provided there are no technical problems, I'll be visiting with you tomorrow.
Loads and Loads of Love,
L

I totally agree...maybe you can be Gillette's version of the "Pioneer Woman". If you aren't familiar, she's a city gal that married a Montana (I think or Wyoming) rancher and has had to learn to cook and everything involved in ranch life. I got interested in her because she uses her camera to take some beautiful shots. Check her out at www.pioneerwoman.com
ReplyDeleteOk...love you too~~gar
Ok, my bad! I just went to the website I gave you and it was wrong! Try this one....
